Samuel P. Henkel -
Mr. Henkel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University and received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Thomas M. Cooley Law School – finishing among the top 25% of his class. While at Michigan State, Mr. Henkel worked at the Capital Building in Lansing, Michigan for the Chair of Appropriations for the State of Michigan, former Representative Marc Shulman. While attending law school, Mr. Henkel worked for the Kent County Prosecutor’s Office and conducted misdemeanor trials while still a law school student.
Following law school, Mr. Henkel worked for Kelly, Henkel, David & Missad P.C. for two years before opening this firm with his father. Mr. Henkel represents Clients in counties throughout Michigan, including but not limited to, Kent, Ottawa, Muskegon, Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kalamazoo, Calhoun, Eaton, Ingham, Newaygo, Mecosta, Oceana and Van Buren. Mr. Henkel continues to maintain a broad practice, handling many criminal, civil and probate matters.
